Michelle Metrow is the principal designer and owner of Michelle Metrow Design Ltd.

Even before pursuing a formal design education, Michelle had a passion for architecture, art, travel, and design. Founded in Muskoka, Michelle’s more than 25 years of experience has led her to projects that include new cottage builds, renovations of homes & cottages, and commercial interiors.

Michelle is interested in expressing her creativity in interiors that stand the test of time, not those tied to a particular style or trend. This means a focus on sustainability and high-quality materials, that ensure the space remains durable and attractive for years of enjoyment.

Her clients value her collaborative approach with architects and builders. Michelle’s involved with all aspects of each project, including space planning, choosing materials, finishes, and furnishings, that fit within their budget and vision. She believes her client’s space should reflect their personal style, with special attention to detail in the curation of furnishings, art, and finishing touches. This is achieved through open communication, to ensure the final design is functional, comfortable, and beautiful, for her client’s short and long-term needs. She has been fortunate to assist the same clientele on various projects over the years, in Muskoka, Toronto, and globally.
